Data collection and use for execution of contracts and opening of customer accounts according to Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR

Wilckens Farben GmbH and its associated companies collect personal data in accordance with the GDPR if you are contacting us and voluntarily accept this as part of the process (e.g. by e-mail or our contact form). Any mandatory fields will be marked as such, because we need this data to fulfil the contract or to work on your demands of your contact. Without this data, we cannot process your request (opening customer account, processing order, etc.). We use your communicated data exclusively for contract execution and processing of your request. After completion of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing. The communicated data is deleted after expiry of the tax and commercial retention periods, unless it has explicitly agreed on a further use of your data. Furthermore we reserve the right for further data usage, which is permitted by law and described in this statement. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time by sending a message to the contact specified under point 2.

Data transfer for execution of contracts according to Art. 6 para. 1 GDPR

To fulfill the contract, we pass your data to the executing shipping company for delivering your ordered goods.

Webserver-Logfiles

When you visit our website, we collect the following data, which your browser transmits to our web server, in so-called log files:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of the request
  • The content of the request (URL of the page)
  • Access status / HTTP status code
  • Transferred amount of data
  • Referring Website (Referrer)
  • Browser with version and language
  • Operating system used

This data is processed in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. By processing your data, we want to guarantee the stability and security of the website. In addition, this data is used to optimize our content and possible advertising on our website and to provide meaningful information to law enforcement authorities in the event of an attack. We do not draw any conclusions about your personality from this data and store the data in the log files separately from other personal information we might acquire.

Your rights

You have the right to get information about your personal data stored at our company as well as a right of correction, restriction of processing, data portability or deletion of your data. If you have any questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data, information, correction, blocking or deletion of data, as well as the revocation of granted consent or objection to a particular use of data, please contact the responsible institution (see point 1) or the data security officer (see point 2).
